I have over 30 years' experience as inhouse HR, so think of me as your personal HR department supporting and advising you.
Solicitors can be expensive, and most situations can be resolved through the clear guidance and good HR advice I provide.
If you should need a solicitor as things progress, such as to sign off or negotiate a settlement agreement, which only a solicitor is allowed to advise on, I’ll point you towards a good one that I know and trust.

With over 30 years' HR experience spanning roles from Advisor to HRD, I specialize in providing HR advice for employers and employees, particularly SMEs and small businesses facing people challenges.
If you're not ready to hire someone to manage or lead your HR activity, but you want the advantage of HR input, I can deliver that as PAYG support or via a retained arrangement. The small business HR conundrum!
✔️ You need someone to ‘do HR’ so that you can employ people and pay them, and all that stuff, but only when you need it, not all the time.
✔️ You have an ambitious strategy, and when you get your team together, you’d really benefit from a credible and experienced HR voice in the room, but you definitely don’t want to add one to your payroll (the fancy name for that is a fractional HRD, which means you only pay for a few hours).
✔️ The team you started the business with are great; they worked their socks off to get the business off the ground, but it feels like you now need more experienced people in your team and you’re not sure how to manage that change.
